If you haven’t already, you’ll soon start to notice the “Sweet Sound of Contact” as you visit any page on this site. This effort comes from a combination of some much needed “field work” and a little brotherly advice.

After a looooooong absence, I was finally able to break away from the computer and venture out for this “field work”  this afternoon at a driving range in Oviedo, FL with GolfyGulfGirlfriend (I know, I know, fiance) her father, future GolfyGulfFather-In-Law and of course, GolfyGulfGlove.

You’ll see more of GolfyGulfGlove in a later post, this one is to plug  my brother, Ryan Hartman, for that aforementioned advice. It will be a never ending process to add inventory / golf courses. So don’t ever think that we are done adding courses to search for tee times. The goal – The Sum of all Golf!

While this statement was made on their blog, in reference to GolfSigma’s tee time database, it’s pretty clear that’s not all they’re after.

The new born GolfSigma Forum is attempting to bring together the world’s golf community with forums to discuss “The Tour”, Equipment,  offer and receive tips, post a product for sale, find a playing partner, “Club Making”, and ..ah-hem..go over the rules and etiquette of the game. Oh yeah, there’s also a section to post jokes like

The Alternate Shot Partner

A golfer playing in a two-man alternate shot tournament drove his tee shot to the edge of the green on a par-3 hole.
His partner, playing the second shot, managed to chip it over the green into a bunker. Undaunted, the first golfer recovers with a fine shot to within one foot of the hole.
The second golfer nervously putts, and sends the ball one foot past the hole, leaving the first golfer to sink the putt..
“Do you realize that we took five strokes on an easy par-3?” says the first golfer.
“Yes, and don’t forget who took three of them!” answered his partner”!
